From metaphysics to esthetics - 2007-2009

As the extension of a permanent reflection on the status of the individual in the heart of the nature, the painting of Shahla Dadsetan is an invitation to become aware of our narrow relation to the cosmos, this body of substance distributed in the space and time.

Contact is very rapidly established with these abstract compositions of energetic streaks, between shadow and light, where the primitive, essential force of elements mix with calm and silent zones.
Made of black, wich absorbs, opposite to white wich reflects light, added to green, the symbol of the vegetal, these architectural works translate space in its infinity; they sometimes seem to escape from limits of the painting to continueliving.
